Sometimes a front landscape bed just stops working. The plants become overgrown, the layout starts to feel dated, and no matter how much maintenance goes into it, the space never looks as clean as it should.
For this project, we removed the existing front landscape and started fresh with a new planting design focused on long-term growth, seasonal interest, and a cleaner overall look.
We installed a mix of native and low-maintenance plants, including red twig dogwood, globe arborvitae, coreopsis, and wild bergamot. This combination gives the bed structure, color, texture, and pollinator value while still keeping the design clean and intentional.
The new layout now better complements the front of the home, softens the brick, and creates a more natural look that will continue to fill in over time. Fresh mulch finished everything off and helped give the bed a sharp, professional appearance.
Plant selection matters. It is not just about what looks good the day it goes in. It is about choosing the right plants for the site, the home, and how the landscape will mature over the next several years.
We are excited to see this one fill in.
